Ultralong nanowires of organorhodium complexes designed by Professor Chi-Ming CHE has been highlighted in the Nature China
Professor Chi-Ming CHE and his team have designed a series of organorhodium complexes which can self-assemble into nanowires in water. Highlighted in the Nature China ( DOI:10.1038/nchina.2010.128), these nanowires would bundle and align in one direction, allowing them to be conveniently processed and transferred into electrical devices. They also showed good conductivity and were luminescent in the near-infrared region. (Angew. Chem. Int. ed. 2011,49, 9968-9971 ).
