Professor Raymond Wai-Yeung Wong won the Lectureship Award for Asian and Oceanian Photochemist (Eikohsha Award) by the Japanese Photochemistry Association

Professor Raymond Wai-Yeung Wong was awarded the Lectureship Award for Asian and Oceanian Photochemist (Eikohsha Award) 2014 by the Japanese Photochemistry Association. This award is presented to one eminent scientist in the Asian and Oceanian region every year for the scientist's outstanding research in any aspect of photochemistry.

Professor Wong won this award for his distinguished contributions to "Photofunctional Metallopolyynes and Metallophosphors: New Multifunctional Materials with Emerging Applications".
